Delegation of the People's Republic of China, representing Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China (SAC) and various other administration sectors of China, like Tourism and protection of cultural heritage, met yesterday, October 22, 2012 with the Administration and Officers of the Hellenic Organization for Standardization (ELOT).
The meeting took place at the request of the Chinese authorities to exchange information regarding the standardization of services, tourism and presrvation of cultural heritage.
After a very productive discussion the two parties agreed on extending the current MOU until January 2018 and on collaborating, by implementing common specifications, in the area of services and especially in cultural heritage and tourism, both bilaterally and at ISO level.
